You don't need a diagnosis or the perfect words to reach out. Start with a thoughtful conversation, a careful assessment, and a discussion about the next steps that may help.

HOW I CAN HELP
Two ways of caring. One person at the center.
Neuropsychiatric assessment and CBT psychotherapy serve different purposes. Together, when appropriate, they can support a more complete understanding of your needs.
01
Neuropsychiatry consultations
A medical assessment of mental-health and neurological concerns, symptoms and wider circumstances, followed by a discussion of appropriate care options. Medication may be considered when indicated; it is not automatic.
A structured, collaborative form of psychotherapy that explores how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact, and develops practical strategies to approach difficulties differently.
Dr. Sarah Rageh is a neuropsychiatrist and CBT psychotherapist dedicated to helping you find balance and healing. With five years of postgraduate psychiatry experience blended with neurology, she believes in looking at the whole picture of who you are.
Her journey includes four and a half years as an Egyptian Psychiatry Fellow at Al-Demera Hospital for Psychiatric Disorders and Addiction. She is also a GMC-registered doctor, so her care is held to the highest standards of safety, ethics and medical practice.

UNDERSTANDING CBT
Not just talking. Learning new ways forward.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you notice connections between what you think, how you feel, and what you do. Together, you can identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and practise helpful alternatives.
Starting mental healthcare can feel unfamiliar. Here's a simple overview of what the first steps generally look like.
01
Reach out
Ask about appointment options and share the practical details needed for scheduling — no medical story required in your message.
02
Have a conversation
During the initial consultation, discuss what's been happening, what matters to you, and any questions you have.
03
Decide on a plan
Review possible next steps together, whether that involves psychotherapy, psychiatric follow-up, or another appropriate option.

GOOD TO KNOW
Questions you might be asking.
It's normal to have questions before a first appointment. These are some of the things people often want to know.
No. You can begin by describing what has been troubling you, even if you can't name it. An assessment can help clarify what might be going on.
Sessions take place by video call on Google Meet, from wherever feels comfortable and private. The first consultation lasts about 60 minutes; follow-ups are usually 30–50 minutes. The link is sent on WhatsApp before your appointment.
Not necessarily. Medication is one of several possible treatments and is considered based on medical assessment, your circumstances, and a discussion of benefits and risks.
Yes, when it is clinically appropriate and allowed where you live. If medication is part of your plan, you receive a written prescription and follow-up appointments to review how it is working. Some medicines, such as controlled drugs used for ADHD, may need extra checks or the involvement of a local doctor.
Psychiatry is a medical specialty involving assessment and treatment of mental health conditions. CBT is a form of psychotherapy that uses structured conversations and practical exercises to work on patterns of thinking and behavior. They can be used separately or together when appropriate.
Professional confidentiality is an important part of mental healthcare, subject to applicable ethical and legal exceptions. You can ask about privacy and those limits at your appointment.
The number of sessions varies depending on the concerns, goals, and progress made. A treatment plan and its duration can be discussed and reviewed as therapy develops.
Yes. Sessions are online, so you can join from abroad; appointment times are arranged in Cairo time. Whether medication can be prescribed depends on the rules where you live, and this is discussed at your first consultation.
Payment details (such as InstaPay or a mobile wallet, or an international option if you are abroad) are shared on WhatsApp when your appointment is confirmed. If you need to reschedule, please let the practice know at least 24 hours before.
Yes, with a parent or guardian taking part in the consultation, especially in the first session.
WHENEVER YOU'RE READY
The first step doesn't have to be a big one.
You can start with a simple question about appointments. You don't need to explain personal or sensitive medical details in a booking message.
TAKE THE FIRST STEP
Let's start with a conversation.
Prepare a short enquiry with your preferred time and send it to the practice on WhatsApp. Your appointment is confirmed once the practice replies.
Enquiries only · Not an emergency service
Only your name and appointment preferences are needed.
An enquiry is not a confirmed appointment.
WhatsApp is for scheduling only, not for clinical advice or emergencies.
